Harjot is an Advisor at SmedTech, having joined SmedTech as an undergraduate for two years before joining as a full-time graduate in 2024.

During his time at SmedTech, Harjot has contributed to a range of projects across the commercial, traffic, and public transport sectors, in particular through leveraging his proficiency in data analysis and spatial/GIS visualisations. Using these skills he has supported multiple major road and public transport projects over the course of his short career. This includes technical analysis for the redesign and optimisation of bus networks as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project, as well as identifying operational efficiencies and supporting evidence-based decision-making for government agencies, including Victoria's Department of Transport and Planning.

More recently, Harjot's focus has been in supporting SmedTech's traffic and commercial teams, contributing to both project development and commercial negotiation processes through application of data analysis, technical assessments, and data visualisation. He has gained specialist experience in the integration of traffic and revenue forecasts for toll road projects across Australia, including North East Link and West Gate Tunnel, where he has supported the delivery of commercial and strategic project advice to executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
