Dain Street is a Chartered Civil Engineer with postgraduate qualifications in project management and a background in both engineering and business administration. His experience spans the development, design, and delivery of major transport and utility infrastructure projects across Australia and the United Kingdom.

Dain has held senior technical, project, and advisory roles across publicly funded and privately financed infrastructure programs, including complex PPP, Alliance, incentivised target cost, Design and Construct (D&C), and Construct Only contract models. His experience includes project and bid management, procurement strategy, assurance reviews, technical specification development, and the integration of design, construction, and commercial requirements.

He has worked closely with state road authorities, government delivery agencies, and private sector proponents, providing advice on delivery strategy, contract documentation, and design governance for large, multi-package infrastructure programs. This includes involvement in projects such as North East Link, Torrens to Darlington, West Gate Tunnel, Northern Water infrastructure (including desalination plants and pipeline works), energy infrastructure projects including transmission line components, and major infrastructure developments in the United Kingdom, including the London 2012 Olympic Park.

Dain is recognised for his ability to bridge technical and commercial perspectives, helping project teams manage complexity, reduce interface risk, and establish clear, deliverable project requirements from procurement through to delivery and operations.
