Ben Taylor is a transport, land use and urban economics specialist with nearly 20 years' experience advising governments, infrastructure owners and the private sector on some of Australia's most significant transport and city-shaping initiatives. His expertise spans strategic transport planning, infrastructure policy, economic and land use modelling, business case development, and investment decision-making, helping clients navigate complex challenges with clear, evidence-based advice.

Throughout his career, Ben has worked across consulting, government and asset owner organisations, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the policy, commercial and operational drivers that influence major infrastructure outcomes. He has advised organisations including Transport for NSW, the City of Sydney, Transurban and numerous state and local government agencies, developing long-term strategies that integrate transport, land use, economic growth and emerging mobility trends.

Ben is recognised for translating complex technical analysis into practical, decision-ready advice for senior executives and government decision-makers. He has led multidisciplinary teams delivering strategic planning, forecasting and business case advice for major transport investments, while also establishing new advisory capabilities in areas including future mobility, transport electrification and the night-time economy.
